Ice Skating & Shelter Building Community Day
Friday, January 17, 2025 9:30am-2:30pm
Meet @ Waterhouse Center
Please note: Accompanying adult is required for non-enrolled learners
We’ll ice skate together in the morning at the Waterhouse Center in Kennebunk! All experience levels are welcome to join us.
When we’re feeling complete with skating we will head over to School Around Us for Shelter Building. We’ll learn to make warm, cozy shelters with debris and snow while safely using tools like axes and saws.
What to Bring: Sharp Ice Skates, weather appropriate gear including layers and shoes or boots with good traction for the afternoon, bag lunch, snacks, water bottle, optional - helmet
Please read the Rules of the Rink and talk about them with your learner
